﷯Meet the "LC" behind LC Event Design Lisa Compton was destined for a career in design from a young age. After being hand-picked for drawing and painting classes at Pittsburgh’s Carnegie Mellon Art and Design Program for Children, Lisa attended classes on weekends to study, practice, and develop her creativity. Upon moving to Florida, she worked in the food and beverage industry and soon began to focus her creative skills toward a career in special events. It wasn’t until she stumbled into the destination management business that she instantly knew her dreams were becoming a reality. Over the next thirty years, Lisa worked from the bottom-up gaining valuable, hands-on experience developing concepts and managing the details of special events, décor, entertainment, and food and beverage. After returning to school to hone her skills, Lisa's true passion for designing events emerged and inspired her to launch LC Event Design - a company focused on design and dedicated to service.
